Kiddo KidKeeper

For those parents who obsess over the safety of their kids, the Kiddo KidKeeper can provide momentary peace of mind. What is Kiddo? It is a proximity alarm that has two pieces. One is attached to the child and the other stays with the parent or guardian. When the child moves more than 4 meters away an alarm sounds to alert the parent; another alarm also goes off when the kid is more than 8 meters away. The makers of Kiddo are the Portuguese research and development company Smart Target. This surprised me since I expected the Kiddo to be a North American invention considering how parents obsess over the safety of their children in this part of the world. If you don’t have any kids yet, then don’t fret because you can still use the Kiddo KidKeeper. The device is good for monitoring adults with mental disabilities such as Alzheimer’s and even pets.
